Change cookie and optional storage choices

Use Cookie settings to review consent, understand necessary and optional storage and distinguish browser choices from marketing unsubscribe requests.

Open "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page, or on our cookie policy page, to review your choices. You can reject every optional category and still use the shop. Necessary storage keeps your basket, keeps you signed in, protects forms and remembers the choice you made. Nothing optional loads until you allow it.

What each category does

CategoryWhat it coversDefault
NecessaryYour basket, signing in, form security, the glass you are ordering while you work on it, and the record of your cookie choiceAlways on
FunctionalYour recent searches, products you recently viewed, and staying connected to your chat conversation with our teamOff until you allow it
AnalyticsGoogle Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session recordings of public pages only, typed details hidden; cookies _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID), which show us how the site is used and where people struggleOff until you allow it
MarketingAdvertising tags that measure our ads and show relevant onesOff until you allow it

The settings panel lists each cookie or stored item in a category, with its purpose and how long it lasts. Our cookie policy shows the same table. Carrying on browsing is never taken as a yes.

Change or withdraw a choice

  1. Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or on the cookie policy page.

  2. Step 2: Read the categories

Each optional category has its own switch. Necessary is marked "Always on".

  3. Step 3: Make your choice

Press "Accept all" or "Reject all", or set the switches you want and press "Save my choices". The three buttons carry the same weight, so none is pushed at you.

  4. Step 4: Check it saved

The panel closes once your choice is saved. If it could not be saved, it says so; try again before you carry on.

Withdrawing consent stops optional storage from then on. It does not undo what was collected before. Some records held by an advertising or analytics provider may need to be managed with that provider.

Different devices and browsers

Your choice is stored in the browser you are using. Changing it on a laptop does not change it on your phone. Private browsing, or clearing your cookies, removes the record, so the banner asks again. Your choice is also kept for six months, after which we ask again.

Clearing site data removes more than your cookie choice. It can also sign you out and clear the glass you were part way through ordering, so save a design link first if you want to keep it.

Cookies and marketing messages are separate

Cookie consent is not the same as permission to send you marketing emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or your email preferences, for that. Messages about an order you placed are service messages and keep coming either way. Read your data and messages for marketing, privacy requests and what we keep.

If the settings panel does not respond, tell us the page and browser you were using. Do not assume a choice was saved if the panel stayed open.

Questions we get asked

Does rejecting optional cookies stop order emails?

No. Messages about an order you placed are separate from cookie choices, and so is marketing permission. Use the unsubscribe link for marketing emails.

Why do I see the choices again on another device?

Each browser keeps its own record. Clearing site data removes it too, so check the settings in the browser you are using now.

Do I need to accept cookies to sign in or order?

No. Signing in and ordering use necessary storage only. Analytics and marketing are never needed.
