Independent glass fitters · self-employed
Why fitters join SW Glass
Fit glass we have already sold, measured and made, on days you choose, for a fee you see before you say yes.
1. Work that is already sold
The jobs come from SW Glass customers who have bought the glass and asked for fitting. No cold leads, no paying per lead, no bidding against ten others.
2. Measured, drawn and made before you arrive
Every job carries the factory drawing, the cutting ticket, the hardware list and the site photographs from the same order. You fit; you do not redesign.
3. Glass and fittings ready for you
Collected from our branches or delivered to site, matched to the job. Breakage and remakes go through our claims process, not your pocket.
4. You choose the work
Your postcodes, your travel distance, your days. Accept or decline each offer.
5. Clear money
The commission is shown on every offer before you accept; the current standard is 25% of the job's value before VAT, less the materials we supply. Your earnings page shows each job, what is owed and when it is paid.
6. A profile customers trust
Verified insurance and qualifications, reviews from real completed jobs and a portfolio of your finished installs: a reputation that grows with every job.
7. Trade account benefits
Trade prices on hardware and glass for your own work, the fitting-guide library and product data sheets.

Tell us the job and we will match youHow introductions work
- SW Glass introduces customers to independent, self-employed fitters.
- Once you are matched, the fitting work and its contract are between you and the fitter. SW Glass is not a party to that contract and does not supervise the work.
- The fitter agrees the price, the date and their own guarantee with you, and carries their own insurance.
- Glass and hardware you buy from SW Glass are still sold by SW Glass, on our terms of sale, and your rights for those goods are unchanged.
Help with shower screens, mirrors and other glass installations
A hinged shower screen needs the right handing, hinges and seals. A mirror or kitchen splashback needs a suitable wall and fixing method. Glass partitions and balustrades need the specified system and any required design checks. Tell the team what is being fitted, where it is going and whether the glass has already been ordered.
- 1. Describe the project
Product, postcode, order reference and any access constraints.
- 2. Confirm the scope
The team checks measurements, products, fitting requirements and availability.
- 3. Agree the work with the fitter
Once introduced, you agree the price, date and guarantee directly with the fitter.
How joining the fitter network works
- The work
- Shower enclosures, splashbacks, mirrors, balustrades, partitions, doors and similar glazing, anywhere in the UK you tell us you cover, or the whole UK.
- Introductions, on your own terms
- When we introduce a customer to you, the work is between you and them: your own insurance, your own contract and your own guarantee. Terms for fitters joining.
- Our products, every time
- Each job comes with the parts list we supply. If a part is genuinely unavailable, you ask for an exception on that part and the office decides it in writing before anything else is fitted.
- Assessment
- We read every application by hand: your experience, qualifications, insurance and references. We may ask for more information, an interview or a practical assessment.
- No promise of work
- Being approved means you can be offered jobs. How many depends on where you are, what you fit and when you are free. You can always decline an offer.
- Your details
- Documents you upload are private to the office. Bank, tax and identity papers are asked for only at onboarding, never with the first application.
