Your statements sit in the portal as PDFs alongside every VAT invoice, instead of being chased one email at a time.

The name you trade under, as it should appear on invoices.

Company registration number

The 8-character number from Companies House. Not registered? Write 'sole trader' and we will take it from there.

Your name

The decision comes here, and this is the address the trade account sits on.

Trade references

One or two merchants or suppliers you already hold an account with, with a name and a phone number or email we can use.

We are a contractorBuilders, architects, developers, shopfitters and interior designers: your account gets a Projects area for your project enquiries and quotations.

Documents

A trade account is credit, so we need to know who and where you are. Everything here is held against your application and is never published.

How do I open a trade account?

Apply on our trade page. It is free to apply and there is no minimum spend. See trade accounts for what you need.

Do I get credit with a trade account?

Credit is a separate application from the trade account. A manager reviews every credit application, and once it is approved you choose Pay on account at checkout.

Do trade prices show with or without VAT?

Signed-in trade customers see prices without VAT by default, and anyone can switch the display. Every document shows the net amount, the VAT and the total.

What is the wallet card?

A card for your phone wallet with your name, account number and a barcode to scan at the counter. Balances are never printed on it, and there is no annual fee.
