We deliver across the UK: own vans across London; pallet delivery across the UK, quoted at order. Delivery for your area is confirmed when you order. Where checkout can price your postcode it shows the charge before you pay; where it cannot, we confirm the cost and day by phone before anything is sent. If you want to know before you order, ask us.
How does delivery differ by area?
The short version, in the words we use on our delivery page: own vans across London; pallet delivery across the UK, quoted at order.
| Where you are | How it reaches you | How the cost is set |
|---|---|---|
| London | Our own vans and drivers | Shown at checkout where your postcode is priced, otherwise agreed by phone |
| The rest of the UK | Pallet delivery | Quoted at order |
We deliver all over the UK, big panels and glass cut to size included. Very large panels may need a specific vehicle or a quoted delivery; the checkout tells you when that applies, and the charge and day are confirmed when you order.
How do I find out the cost for my address?
Step 1: Check your postcode
Use the postcode check on our delivery page. It shows which delivery area you are in and the van days for that area where we have them.
Step 2: Build your basket
Add your glass or hardware. The size and weight of what you order matter to how it travels.
Step 3: Enter your address at checkout
Where checkout can price your postcode, it shows the delivery charge before you pay, and that is the figure we charge.
Step 4: Or agree it by phone
Where an address cannot be priced online, checkout says: "Delivery: we'll confirm the cost and day by phone before we send it." Nothing is sent until you have agreed.
How long does delivery take?
The product page, basket and checkout show two dates: when your order will be despatched, then roughly when it will be delivered. The first counts the working days to make it, the second adds the working days to deliver it. Weekends and bank holidays in England and Wales are not counted, and orders placed after our daily cut-off count from the next working day.
Dates marked "Indicative dates, confirmed at order" are a guide until we confirm your order. If a date matters, such as a fitter booked or a kitchen going in, ask us before you order and we will check it against the actual schedule. Unless we agree a different date with you, we deliver without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is made. Our guide to delivery, collection and lead times explains this in more detail.
What about delivering to a building site?
Site deliveries need the same information as any other, and more of it: a delivery window, the site contact's phone number, any induction or sign-in rules, and where a vehicle can stop. Add it to the delivery notes on your order. Our guide to access and two-person lifts lists what to tell us.

Questions we get asked
Do you deliver outside London?
Yes. Own vans across London; pallet delivery across the UK, quoted at order. Ask us first if you are ordering large glass.
Can the price change after I pay?
No. Once you have paid, the total is locked, and a delivery charge shown at checkout is the one taken. Where delivery is confirmed by phone, we agree the cost with you before anything is sent.
Can I choose my delivery day?
In London, van days depend on your area. The postcode check shows them, and we agree the day with you.
Is collection cheaper?
Collection from a branch is free. Read collecting from a branch.
