Online, you pay by card on a secure Stripe payment form, or with a card saved to your account, and you can put a gift card or loyalty points towards the total. At a branch counter you can pay by cash, card or cheque. Approved trade accounts with agreed credit terms can pay on account. We can also send you a payment link by email for a quote, a balance or a change to an order.

How do I pay online?

  1. Step 1: Go to checkout

From your basket, go to checkout and give your contact and delivery details.

  2. Step 2: Tick the drawing

For cut-to-size glass, tick "I've checked the sizes, holes and cut-outs on this drawing." Pay stays off until you do.

  3. Step 3: Choose a payment method

The payment form shows the methods available to you. A card always works. If you saved a card to your account, you can choose it or "A different card".

  4. Step 4: Confirm the payment

Your bank may ask you to approve the payment in its app. You then return to our confirmation page.

Card details are entered in Stripe's own secure form. They never reach our servers. An express button such as Apple Pay or Google Pay may show at the top of checkout when your device supports it and it is switched on for our account. The form only shows a method it can take.

You can enter a gift card code at checkout. Signed in to a retail account with points, you can also choose how many points to use. Both come off the total before you pay the rest by card.

If the payment form cannot load, the page says so and that you have not been charged. Check your connection, go back a step and try again.

Can I pay at a branch?

Yes. At the counter we take cash, card and cheque, and you can use a gift card or a credit note we have issued to you. Trade accounts with credit terms can put a sale on account. A bank transfer is paid against an invoice, using the details printed on it. Walk-in sales without an account are paid in full at the counter. Find a branch on our branches page.

Can I pay on account?

Only trade accounts with agreed credit terms see the "Pay on account" option at checkout, with the account's payment period beside it. Everyone else pays when they order. A trade account does not mean credit by itself: terms are agreed per account, with a payment period and a credit limit. Read paying your trade account.

A payment link is an email with a link to a secure card page. We send one to pay for a quote, a balance on a deposit order, or a change to an order that raised its total.

  • A link for a quote lasts as long as the quote does.
  • A link for a change to an order lasts 30 days.
  • A balance link works until it is paid or we send a newer one.
  • An expired link charges nothing. Ask us for a new one.

How do I know a request is really from us?

Our bank details are printed on the invoice PDF only. We never send bank details in the body of an email, and they never change by email. If you get a message asking you to pay a new account, do not pay it. Ring us on the number on our contact page first.

Where to go next

Questions we get asked

Do you store my card number?

No. Card numbers go straight into Stripe's secure form. For a card you save to your account, we keep only the card brand and the last four digits.

Why can I not see Apple Pay?

An express button shows only when your device and browser support it, a card is set up in your wallet, and it is switched on for our account. A card payment always works.

Can I pay part by gift card?

Yes. Enter the gift card code at checkout and pay the rest by card. See gift cards.

Can I pay by bank transfer online?

Online checkout takes card payments. Bank transfer is taken against an invoice, with the details printed on the invoice PDF.
